Library facilities play a vital role in achieving cherished objectives of improving the standards of education and stimulating academic interest among the student community. 

Quality education is impossible without a good Library.

The library is performing a variety of functions by way of helping students with textbooks, reference books and periodicals by providing a large number of bibliographical tools and up-to-date literature on every subject. The quality of instruction provided by this college can be gauged by the quality of Library services being provided to its readers.

            The College Library at Government Degree College, Baruva has on stock about 9,000 books on various subjects and bounded periodicals. Some rare and out of print books & Journals are also available here.

The Central Library of the College has accessibility of VIDWAN(INFLIBNET) research documentation preservation portal in connected with our college Principal and college staffs’ research details. In order to access and availability to the students for their future opportunities.

The Central Library is partially automated through the library management software KOHA, 2.0 with the full modules to easily access by the users of the library (staff, students and alumni) and for digital documents we are going through Google books, OCLC and other related online websites.
