DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE
The Department of Commerce was started in the year 1981.Since its
Inception it has been one of the largest departments of Government
Degree College, Baruva
In the B.com( General) course, the students are taught core subjects
relating to accounting and taxation such as Financial Accounting,
Corporate Accounting ,Cost and Management Accounting, Business
Statistics, Income-Tax ,Indirect Taxes and other key subjects like
Business Economics, Business Environment, Entrepreneurship and
Marketing.
In the fifth and sixth semesters the students have an option to choose
papers of their interest from the elective papers group.
